As the course instructor, extensions for course work can be granted at your discretion. If you grant extensions on term work, in which the deadlines fall before the course end, there is no need to inform the School.
If the extension falls after the course end date, please inform your program administrator of the extended deadline so that they can update the student record with this information.
It is at the instructor's discretion to impose penalties on late assignments but these policies must be clearly explained on the Course Outline that is distributed at the beginning of the course.
