What are the features of a hybrid course?

The School of Continuing Studies hybrid courses – sometimes called blended learning courses – utilize a mixed delivery method, meaning that a certain number of modules are delivered in-class and the remaining modules are delivered online. Please refer to the articles on inclass and online courses, as part of this FAQ. Be sure to check the course webpage for details about the hybrid course schedule. The sequence of in-class and online varies from course to course. Some hybrid courses alternate in-class and online modalities on a weekly schedule. Other hybrid courses schedule in-class sessions at the beginning, middle, or the end of the course while all other sessions are online.
