Blackboard Collaborate is a webinar platform designed for use in online teaching. Instructors schedule webinars using Bb Collaborate as a virtual classroom to share course material and interact with you and other learners via synchronous audio, video, and chat. Desktop applications and web resources such as multimedia can be displayed directly within the webinar room.
In order to use Bb Collaborate you will need: a built-in or external microphone, a built-in or external webcam, and a secure internet connection. Bb Collaborate is a web-based platform accessed through your Quercus course site, the Learning Management Engine at the University of Toronto. It does not require downloading an application on your computer.
