For an in-class course, in addition to the time you’ll spend in-class, you’ll likely have one to three hours of additional reading, studying, assignments, project work and/or preparing for exams per module. For example, in a typical twelve-week course, you’ll have four to six hours of total learning time each week. You’ll spend approximately the same amount of time if you take a course in an online or hybrid format but how, where and when you spend that time will be different. In an online course, most of the time is spent when you want to plan it into your schedule. Other than attending a live webinar, all the other learning activities are done on your own schedule.
