How can I get a University of Toronto library "TCard"?

A University of Toronto Student Card (TCard) is available free of charge to any student who is taking a course with the School of Continuing Studies.  The TCard can be used to access all library resources and WiFi on campus throughout the duration of your course.

To request a TCard, contact our office on (or after) the scheduled start date of your course:

  • By phone 416-978-2400, press 1 to speak with a Student Services Representative.
  • Submit a request to learn@utoronto.ca
  • Visit us in person at our St. George campus at 158 St. George Street.

TCards are not available prior to the start date of your course.

Within two business days of your request we will generate a TCard permission letter.  This letter is verification that you are eligible to receive a TCard.  This letter will emailed to you.

To get your physical TCard, present this letter to one of the designated TCard offices at any of the three campuses, along with a piece of photo identification.  For TCard Office locations and hours, go to http://tcard.utoronto.ca/contact-us/
