What is a UTORid?

The UTORid is a permanent UT credential that is issued to UT degree students, UT Alumni, faculty members, and staff members in order to access campus-wide services and resources.   Students with the School of Continuing Studies will be issued this credential only when requesting a TCard, the U of T student card, necessary for accessing library and WiFi services.   For more information about these services click University of Toronto TCard

In select courses, you may be issued a UTORid to access Quercus, the learning management platform used to host the School’s online courses.  If so, that will be your permanent UT credential.  Please note that the UTORid is separate from the qqID normally used to access Quercus, and cannot be replaced or merged with qqIDs.
