What is a UTORid?

The UTORid is a permanent UT credential that is issued to UT degree students, UT Alumni, faculty members, and staff members in order to access campus-wide services and resources.   Students with the School of Continuing Studies will be issued this credential only when requesting a TCard, the U of T student card, necessary for accessing library and WiFi services.   For more information about these services click University of Toronto TCard

The UTORid cannot be used to access Quercus, the learning management platform used to host the School’s online courses.  These courses use qqID credentials which cannot be replaced or merged with UTORids.
