Many of the buildings at the St. George Campus have WiFi coverage that students are welcome to use. Visit http://wireless.utoronto.ca/bstatus for a complete list of buildings.
In order to log onto the campus WiFi, you need to have active UTORid or qqID credentials.
If you already have a UTORid and need to re-activate it, please email the School at firstname.lastname@example.org or call (416) 978-2400 on your first day of class or later. Your UTORid will be re-activated 24 hours after your request is processed.
If you have been emailed a qqID from the School to access Blackboard, you can use it to log onto the Wi-Fi system. qqIDs do not require activation.
If you do not have either of these credentials please email the School at email@example.com or call (416) 978-2400 to request access to WiFi. You will be provided with a TCard permission letter which is necessary to produce UTORid credentials. Your TCard letter with includes your UTORid credentials will be available the following business day. You can visit our office at 158 St. George Street to pick it up, or ask to have it emailed to you when it is ready. Note that TCard Letters cannot be issued prior to the first day of your course.
Remember to activate your UTORid before you try to access the WiFi system. You do not have to obtain a TCard in order to access WiFi but we highly recommend it. It can be used to access campus-wide library services.
