How do I access the Quercus learning platform?

To access Quercus you will require a credential called a qqID.  For each course that utilizes Quercus, you will receive a unique qqID.  If you are taking several courses in the same semester, you may receive a separate qqID for each course.  They cannot be merged or extended.

qqID credentials will be emailed to you three (3) calendar days prior to the course start date with the subject line ‘Your Quercus Access Letter.’ If you registered with less than three (3) days or after the course start date, you will need to wait up to two (2) calendar days to receive your qqID credential.

The Quercus Access Letter email will contain your qqID and a link to securely retrieve the associated password, both of which are necessary to access your course materials.

To access your qqID password, follow the link in the email provided and when prompted, enter your date or birth or last name indicated in your learner profile. Once confirmed the password will be shared with you. Please note that the password link will expire fifteen (15) calendar days following the date the original access letter was emailed, so we recommend recording the password in a safe place.

qqIDs are temporary, and access to Quercus will expire sixty (60) days after the end date of your course.

If you have not received your qqID for access to Quercus or if your qqID password link has expired please contact us at 416-978-2400 for assistance or submit a Support Request Form below.
