Can I take degree-level courses through SCS?

The School of Continuing Studies offers non-credit/non-degree certificate programs to adult learners for professional development or personal interest purposes only. The courses we offer do not count for university or college credit and cannot be applied to degree or diploma programs.

The only exceptions would be our partnership courses, such as 2472 Biochemistry with a Medical Perspective, 2159 Basic Human Physiology, or 3031 Introduction to Medical Microbiology. These courses are taught in conjunction with the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Medicine and are typically taken by students for admission credit to such programs as Medicine, Nursing, or Pharmacology. To apply these courses, please request a transcript.
